How to Support PT
Prayer & Ministry Needs
In handling this work we have received tremendous support from partners in USA, and especially from the Portland area, whose love and service to God compels them to give financially and standing with us as an invaluable support. Through their giving, the work of training pastors has evidently grown to increase its effects on ministers and their ministries. We reach and train an average of 800 pastors every year. Of these, about 180 pastors are ready to undergo a stretched training once the School Program is launched. The School Program will allow us to standardize our current trainees as qualified trainers of other pastors.
One pressing need is fiscal (budget)-related, given that the current financial availability supports our annual budget of $35,000 at 48 - 55% funded. Out of the monthly budget of $2846, we have $1375 available which is 48%. With this, we spend along the highest priorities (salary, transport and regional training). We are deeply thankful to our current Partners, and continue to ask God to broaden our support base in order to make the burden less on those who give to us as well as make progress more possible.
We are in time to launch the School Program and we need to start digging the foundation for at the classroom building on the 10-acre PT Center site. We would need at least $30,000 to start off. Of this, we have a pledge of $7,000 and three more promises from UK friends who initially helped us to secure the land. This initial structure on the training site will save PT up to 45% of our annual expenditure which currently goes into renting places.
Special Construction and Income Projects Initiated by Supporting Churches
Through prayer, the Lord moved through supporters in the U.S. and U.K. in 2010 to independently fund the several projects to help with the current shortfall in PT support. More information can be found here.
