    • New: Intown Presybterian Church of Portland, Oregon has informed PT-USA that their "Uganda Construction Fund" will close on December 31, 2010. This temporary fund was opened in the spring of 2010 to receives monies for projects #3 (rental units) and #4 (PT office) as described under PT Income and Construction projects. Here is an update from Intown:
      • "At present, the duplex has been completed and God has graciously provided reliable renters.  The PT office has been essentially completed and should be fully ready for occupancy in the next few weeks.  The work that remains includes upgrades on the Twongyeirwe home (interior doors, cupboards and fixtures) and some foundation repairs.  Also a driveway built of pavers is yet to be accomplished to deal with the axel-deep mud during the rainy season.  The funds needed to complete this remaining work are estimated at about $6,000 and we are in prayer that this will be provided before the end of the year when the Uganda Construction Project fund will be closed.  At that time a full report will be prepared, including photos.  It will be shared with Julius and the PT Board of Directors in Uganda and sent to PT-USA for posting on the PT website (http://www.proctask.org/).  In the meantime, if you desire further information or a presentation on the details of the work, please feel free to contact the Intown office or Larry Gentry (lgentry804@aol.com) on the Intown Missions Team."

  • June 2010. Josh Dupuis, a member of Intown Presbyterian Church of Portland, Oregon, recently returned from an extended visit to Uganda to visit Julius Twongyeirwe and assist with various construction projects. Josh brought back many photos video clips of his visit. Here are some of them.
